  • Due to manufacturer changes, this thermostat may look different from the original. When installing this thermostat, the ground wire should be attached to the spade terminal on the mounting bracket and the other two power wires can connect to either of the other two terminals.

    would have been a 5 but the tubing for the element was missing. Therefore I had to remove the tubing from the old element & slide it over the new element. This was not easy. Took about 20 min.'s & quite a bit of swearing.
