The part appeared to be an OEM part and was identical to the old one but as it should like a new one.

Product arrived on time as described.
Installed the new hearing element a few days ago. Assisted by a simple YouTube video. Repair was made in about an hour. Would have been less if I hadn't taken the time to clean out all the stray lint. All in all I would consider this an easy repair. Dryer works like new. I'll modify this review if the part wears out quickly.
